Production & Operations Management is the systematic design, direction, and control of processes which combine and transform various resources into value added services and productions for internal, as well as external, customers.
Production & Operations Management is a primary function in a value chain.
Every management student must familiarize themselves with Taylor, Porter, Simon, Deming, Juran, Hammer, and Goldratt.
Production & Operations is to management what an athlete is to sports.
