General Graduate School Business Administration Curriculum

Article 4 (Basic curriculum structure)

① The basic structure of the department curriculum, which is the minimum credit completion requirement, is as follows.

Article 5 (Curriculum)

Article 6 (Prerequisite subjects)

① Those who fall under the following categories must complete the prerequisite courses as follows: 1. Applicants: Those who have entered a department (major) different from the department (major) of the lower-level degree program 2. Credits required for prerequisite courses: 9 credits for the master's course in the lower-level degree program, 12 credits for the doctoral and integrated master's and doctoral courses 3. The list of prerequisite courses is as follows [Table 3].

② If you apply for credit recognition among subjects completed in a lower-level degree program before admission and receive approval from the relevant department head after confirmation by the degree advisor and department chair, the credits may be recognized as prerequisites.

Article 7 (Recognition of subjects from other departments)

① Students who wish to take courses from other departments must consult with their degree advisor (or department head if not selected) to decide on the course to take, fill out the course application form, and receive approval from the degree advisor and department head.
② Courses taken in other departments can be recognized as major elective credits up to 9 credits for the master's program and 12 credits for the doctoral program.

Article 8 (Completion of common graduate school subjects)

① Students who wish to take a common course (convergence education course) offered by the graduate school to all graduate students must consult with the degree advisor (department head if not selected) to decide on the course to take, fill out the course application form, and register for the course. Approval must be obtained from the advisor and department chair.
② If you have completed common graduate school courses, up to 3 credits for the master's program and 6 credits for the doctoral program can be recognized as major elective credits.

Article 9 (Completion)

① Completion is recognized only for those who complete the course corresponding to Article 4 and meet all requirements set forth in higher-level regulations such as the graduate school regulations and internal regulations.
② Those eligible for prerequisite credits must acquire the prescribed prerequisite credits. However, prerequisite credits are not included in completion credits.
③ Only credits recognized in other departments and common subjects are recognized as completion credits as stipulated in each article above.

Article 10 (Graduation)

① Graduation is recognized only for those who meet all graduation requirements, including Article 9, degree qualification examination, degree thesis, and thesis publication requirements.
② hose who wish to submit a thesis for a degree to our graduate school must meet the following qualifications.
1.For master's programs, those who have completed full-time registration for at least 4 semesters and have already acquired or are scheduled to acquire more than the credits required for completion in the current semester.
2.For doctoral programs, those who have completed research registration after completion.
3.Applicants who have completed the required credits for completion. Those who have an average grade of B- (2.7) or higher
4.Those who have passed the degree qualification examination
5.Those who are judged to have a significantly low risk of plagiarism in their degree thesis
6.Those who have met the research paper publication performance set by the department ([Table 4])

(2) Presentation of at least one paper at an international academic conference or an academic conference of an academic society that publishes papers in an academic journal registered with the National Research Foundation of Korea: You must be the lead author (first or corresponding author).

Article 11 (Degree Qualification Examination)

① In order to submit a thesis for a degree to our graduate school, you must pass the degree qualification examination set by the department.
② The degree qualification examination is conducted every semester, and those who wish to take the examination must submit an application to the Dean of Graduate School after confirmation from the department chair on the application form.
③ The degree qualification test consists of a written test (degree qualification test 1, degree qualification test 2) and a degree qualification test (open form).
④ The written exam for all degree programs consists of two subjects as follows.
1.For the degree qualification examination 1, you can take one subject from the first area of [Table 2] and replace the exam with the corresponding report card if you obtain a grade of (A-) or higher.
2.For the degree qualification examination 2, you can take one subject from the required major subjects of the corresponding major from the third area of [Table 2].
⑤ hose who wish to apply for the public presentation of the degree qualification examination must meet the following qualifications.
1.Those who have already acquired or are scheduled to acquire more than 24 credits (master's program), 36 credits (doctoral program), or 60 credits (combined master's and doctoral program) in the current semester
2.Two written exam subjects for the degree qualification test determined by the department ( Those who have already passed the Degree Qualification Examination 1 and Degree Qualification Examination 2) or are expected to pass the degree qualification examination in the current semester
⑥ The passing standard for the public announcement of the degree qualification test is evaluated as passing (P) or failing (N), and the degree qualification test result report is submitted to the dean of the graduate school after confirmation by the department chair.

Article 12 (Recognition of credits earned before admission)

① If you have completed courses included in this department in an equivalent degree program at another domestic or foreign graduate school before entering this department and applied for credit recognition after confirmation from the department chair, 6 credits for the master's and combined master's and doctoral degree programs, and 6 credits for the Ph.D. Degree courses can be recognized with the approval of the dean within 9 credits.
② If a student earns a B grade or higher by completing courses offered at the graduate school of our school while enrolled in the bachelor's degree program at our school, the excess of credits required to acquire a bachelor's degree may be recognized up to 6 credits through the procedure in paragraph 1.

Article 13 (Recognition of credits earned by transfer students)

① Those who have transferred to this department may receive up to 6 credits for the master's degree program and 9 credits for the doctoral degree program among the credits earned at the previous graduate school, provided that the department chair recognizes this. However, recognition may be granted only if the subjects are similar to those in the department's curriculum.

Article 14 (Department Steering Committee)

① The Department of Business Administration, Graduate School, Management Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) shall be established to deliberate on important matters related to the operation of the department.
② The Committee shall be composed of five or more members, including the head of the department.
③ The term of office of ex officio members (head of department) shall be the term of office, and the term of office of appointed members shall be one year, but may be extended.
④ The head of department shall be the chairperson of the Committee, and the chairperson shall convene and chair the Committee meetings.
⑤ The Committee meetings shall be convened with the attendance of a majority of the registered members, and resolutions shall be passed with the approval of a majority of the members present.
