General Graduate School Medical Management Department Curriculum

Article 4 (Basic curriculum structure)

① The basic structure of the department curriculum, which is the minimum credit completion requirement, is as follows.

Article 5 (Curriculum)

① The curriculum is as follows.

Article 6 (Prerequisite subjects)

① Those who fall under the following criteria must complete the prerequisite courses as follows.
1.Eligible candidates: Cases with different major names or when a non-same field or department deems it necessary to complete the course
2.Prerequisite credits: 9 credits for the master's program, 12 credits for the doctoral program

If you apply for credit recognition among subjects completed in a lower-level degree program before admission and receive confirmation from the degree advisor and department head and approval from the head of the department, the credits may be recognized as prerequisites.

Article 7 (Recognition of subjects from other departments)

① Students who wish to take courses from other departments must consult with their degree advisor (or department head if not selected) to decide on the course to take, fill out the course application form, and receive approval from the degree advisor and department head.
② Courses taken in other departments can be recognized as major elective credits within 12 credits for a master's program, 15 credits or less for a doctoral program, and 18 credits or less for a combined master's and doctoral program.

Article 8 (Acquisition of credits)

① In the case of a master's degree program, you must complete at least 3 credits from the required major (area 1), at least 9 credits from the elective major (area 2), and at least 6 credits from the elective major (area 3).
② In the case of a doctoral degree program, you must complete at least 6 credits from the required major (area 1), at least 9 credits from the elective major (area 2), and at least 9 credits from the elective major (area 3).
③ For the integrated master's and doctoral degree program, you must complete at least 6 credits from the required major (area 1), at least 15 credits from the elective major (area 2), and at least 9 credits from the elective major (area 3).
④ Major required and major elective subjects (groups) are composed as follows.
1.Required major (area 1): Structure and change analysis of the healthcare industry, medical industry and value chain management, medical management analytics, medical system and economy
2.Major elective (area 2): Courses offered by the Department of Medical Management at our graduate school (major) Elective subjects) All applicable (medical insurance theory, medical marketing, understanding of hospital organization and personnel, medical management information system, healthcare technology, medical industry strategy management, medical service quality management, senior industry management)
3.Major selection (3 areas ) ): Empirical Research Methodology I, Empirical Research Methodology II, Action Research Methodology I, Action Research Methodology II
⑤ Subjects acquired in the master's degree program (general graduate school and special graduate school) of this university will not be recognized as credits even if taken and completed in the doctoral program.
- If all subjects (groups) of Area 1 and Area 2 are completed in the master's degree program, a replacement subject will be selected at the department's major advisor meeting.

Article 9 (Completion of common graduate school subjects)

① Students who wish to take a common course (convergence education course) offered by the graduate school to all graduate students must consult with the degree advisor (department head if not selected) to decide on the course to take, fill out the course application form, and register for the course. Approval must be obtained from the advisor and department chair.
② If you complete common graduate school courses, up to 3 credits for the master's program and 3 credits for the doctoral program can be recognized as major elective credits.

Article 10 (Completion)

① Completion is recognized only for those who complete the course corresponding to Article 4 and meet all requirements set forth in higher-level regulations such as the graduate school regulations and internal regulations.
② Those eligible for prerequisite credits must acquire the prescribed prerequisite credits. However, prerequisite credits are not included in completion credits.
③ For credits recognized in other departments and common subjects, only the credits stipulated in each article are recognized as completion credits.

Article 11 (Graduation)

① Graduation is recognized only for those who meet all graduation requirements, including Article 9, degree qualification examination, degree thesis, and thesis publication requirements.

Article 12 (Degree Qualification Examination)

① In order to apply for submission of a degree thesis, you must pass the degree qualification examination.
② The degree qualification test consists of a written test (degree qualification test 1, degree qualification test 2, degree qualification test 3) and a public presentation (degree qualification test).
③ The written exam for all degree programs consists of three subjects as follows.
1.Degree Qualification Examination 1: Take 1 of the 1 areas of the major.
2.Degree Qualification Examination 2: Take 1 of the 2 areas of the major.
3.Degree Qualification Examination 3: Take 1 of the 3 areas of the major. stare
④ The public presentations of students admitted after the 2020 school year (inclusive) are included in the degree qualification examination and no separate result report is received, and are submitted by filling out the ‘degree qualification examination (public presentation)’. (Apply before and after 2023)
