Arts & Culture Cluster

Arts & Culture Cluster
· The Art and Culture Cluster aims to integrate pure art with technology and business management, execute internationalization, and derive education and research that will lead the cultural and art industry. The COVID-19 pandemic that once locked down and isolated the whole world, now have enhanced the sensitivity of public towards cultural and artistic expression, and we have seen a change in the nature of art towards connectivity, solidarity, and empathy in the absence of face-to-face interactions.

· We aim to discuss the fusion of art and technology such as artificial intelligence, business models and issues in the art industry, and activate various forms of fusion art activities that increase communication with viewers in line with the changing industrial ecosystem. Kyung Hee proudly represents graduate school of Art + Fusion Design which lead K-Culture and New creator education of art and culture trends in 4th industrial revolution

· In the world flow of interdisciplinary studies, the committee was formed with members from various fields to explore students’ future career path in the pure arts and humanities, and to conduct researches on the convergence of technology and management. The committee holds interdisciplinary seminars which garners significant interest from the academic community, highlighting activities related to projects that harmonize art and science.

· Recently the cluster opened up the new year with its first Art & Science seminar in 2023 with a theme of “Post-COVID era, fusion art and technology, resource utilization are attracting much attention as key issues and concerns in current art and culture society”.
