Bio-Health Cluster

Bio-Health Cluster
· The Bio-health Cluster aims to revolutionize the field of Bio-Health through a three-pronged approach. The first goal is to elevate the Cluster to the global level of fusion academic institutes.
· The second goal is to establish and manage a Fusion Bio-Health Institute that will sustain the Bio-health Cluster’s growth and development. Finally, the Cluster aims to execute its duty as a higher education institution by promoting educational, research, and practical activities that contribute to become a leader in the field of bio-health and make a significant impact on human health and wellbeing.
Educational activities
- Establishment of a Bio-Health Fusion Institute for Sustainable Bio-Health Cluster Operation
- Development of a Convergent Education System for Global Public Health
- Improvement of Relevant Convergent Education Systems in Medical, Business, Nursing, Public Graduate School, Nursing Graduate School, and East-West Medical Graduate School
Research
- Establishing a system for research collaboration and innovation related to the Bio-Health Cluster Operation
- Establishing a one-stop administrative system that includes the university, medical research institute, Kyung Hee Medical Center, and industry-academia collaboration department
- Promoting collaborative projects with Seoul City, KIST, and KOREA University by utilizing Innopolis Hongneung Seoul, the Global Hub of Advanced Integrated Global Bio-healthcare Ecosystem, aims to encourage and support Sustainable Tech-startup Acceleration and Research(GLOBE STAR Medi-Cluster)
Infrastructure
- EFostering prominent researchers in campus to the bio-health cluster
- Inviting scholars and outstanding researchers related to the bio-health cluster
- Establishing research infrastructure such as laboratories related to the bio-health cluster
- Establishing a unified operating system for experiments and research equipment scattered throughout the campus
- Establishing the “Kyung Hee bio-health Cluster Fund” through fostering research institutes and businesses related to innopolis Hongneung Seoul
