About

Connective Cooperative Cluster
Kyung Hee University has set up three core values - the restoration of academic authority, communication within the academic community, and the creation of a harmonious and creative future society - on the foundation of the tradition in "academics and peace" to achieve global dignity. Along with this, the university has established autonomy and responsibility system where Kyung Hee is embarking on a new leap forward by pursuing the optimal research and educational infrastructure on. Based on these achievements, Kyung Hee University has sought new requirements for a future. The major question that universities must ask in the 21st century can be summarized as "what should universities do to achieve sustainable peace for humanity?"

The future strategy is a medium-to-long-term development strategy that opens the way for a future-oriented university in line with the results of such reflection. The future strategy presents a vision and goals, core values, and strategic directions to establish future-oriented university. It then introduces the key strategies for each field and provides guidance on how to creatively integrate academic research and practice in basic education, majors, interdisciplinary fields, service and practice, and online fields. It concludes with guidelines for a considerate and respectful university culture, innovative administration, sustainable space and finance. To generate world-class interdisciplinary new academic fields, we operate five connective cooperation clusters – civilization, bio-health, future science, art and culture and social sports clusters. These five clusters, composed of all departments and majors in the university, aim to enhance major education and specialize the university/graduate school, promoting balanced development across the entire university.
