About IRIS(Institute of Regulatory through Science) 

규제과학혁신연구센터는 경희대학교 내 의약품 규제과학 분야 연구자들의 역량을 결집하여, 학제 간 융합연구를 수행하고 관련 학문 및 기술 발전에 기여하기 위해 2024년 5월 18일에 설립되었다. 본 센터는 의약품 및 바이오헬스 제품의 개발, 평가, 인허가 및 사후관리 전반에 걸친 규제과학 연구를 수행하며, 산업 및 정책 환경 변화에 대응하는 혁신적 연구를 추진하고 있다.

Regulatory Science Innovation Research Center was established on May 18, 2024, to integrate the research capabilities of scholars in pharmaceutical regulatory science within Kyung Hee University. The center promotes interdisciplinary research to advance scientific knowledge and technological innovation in regulatory science. It conducts research covering the entire lifecycle of pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceutical products, including development, evaluation, approval, and post-marketing management, while responding to evolving industrial and policy environments.

영문 약칭(IRIS)의 로고 타입은 규제과학의 신뢰를 나타내며, 안쪽에서 바깥으로 빠져나가는 흐름의 원호 포인트는 출시 전 신약에 대한 안전성 평가로 우수한 의약품 촉진으로 국민보건에 이바지하는 비전을 상징한다.

The logotype of the English abbreviation represents the trust of regulatory science, and the point of the circular arc flowing from the inside out symbolizes the vision to contribute to the improvement of public health by promoting the development of excellent drugs by evaluating the safety and efficacy of new drugs before launch.
