  1. English standardized test scores do not have to be submitted at the time of application.
    Although the submission of the scores is not mandatory, the applicants whose scores are above the standard set by the Graduate School of Pan-Pacific International Studies will receive additional points toward admission.
  2. The levels of scholarships at GSP are as follows
    Class 1A Full scholarship covering tuition fees
    Class 2A Scholarship covering 75% of tuition fees
    Class 2B Scholarship covering 50% of tuition fees
    Class 2C Scholarship covering 25% of tuition fees
    Class 3 Scholarship covering 0% of tuition fees
  3. The Graduate School of Pan-Pacific International Studies was established in 1997 by the Korean government as an international graduate program.
    GSP's curriculum is quite practical and can be handled by students with different undergraduate backgrounds. Students are required to take 4-5 core courses offered in their major. Three courses in the student's major of study will also be required.
  4. A total of 45 credits are required for graduation. The requirement for the official English test scores must also be submitted to the GSP office.
  5. GSP has a very active internship and study abroad program.
    An internship requires more than four weeks of work for a government unit, a corporation, a research center, or an international organization, both in Korea as well as in other countries.
    A submission of a report based on work experience will also be required. Internships are not mandatory for graduation but highly recommended.
    For overseas internships, financial support for air-fare is available, and credits can be received according to the GSP policy.
    Students in the exchange program will pay of tuition to Kyung Hee University and take courses from one of the sister universities in other countries.
    Kyung Hee University currently has about 200 sister universities around the world at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  6. The most important step in the application process is the interview.
    Questions will be asked in English.
    Although the questions asked may vary according to the interviewers, there are questions that are frequently asked to all applicants.
    Since the applicants for a master's degree have various undergraduate backgrounds, no in depth questions will be asked on a specific area. Rather, general questions regarding the applicant's basic knowledge of their area of interest, their purpose for study, their reasons for applying to Kyung Hee, University and their readiness for graduate study will be asked.
  7. GSP graduates from 2000 to 2008 now play important roles in diverse fields in the global community.
    Among 167 surveyed graduates, most have developed their careers in the fields of financial services, the Information Technology Industry, international trade and high tech manufacturing industries.
    Of these, 14% of graduates are now working in the Finance and Investment area, 14% for the Information Technology Industry, and 11% for the distribution Industry and Manufacturing.
    A further 14% of graduates are working for public enterprises such as as the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation while 6% play active roles as lawyers and administrators.
    Some are involved in diplomacy, International Organizations, and the press.
  8. Staying at the dormitory is not mandatory, but recommended.
